Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This policy sets out what personal information Lily Chicago collects, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Who is responsible for your information

The controller of your personal information is USEEMALL LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13324887, with its registered office at Flat 4, 4 Conyngham Road, Manchester, M14 5SA, England. USEEMALL LTD trades as Lily Chicago.

The store runs on Shopify, which processes information on our behalf as our platform provider.

What we collect

Information you give us directly

Your name, email address, telephone number if you provide one, billing and delivery addresses, the contents and history of your orders, any account details you create, and whatever you write to us when you contact support.

Information collected automatically

Your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you open, the products you view or add to your cart, the site that referred you, and information gathered through cookies and similar technology.

Information from third parties

Payment processors send us the status of a transaction, a reference, and the last digits of a card — never the full card number. Carriers send us delivery status. Advertising and analytics providers send us measurement data where you have allowed it.

Why we use it

To take and fulfil your order, take payment, arrange delivery and keep you informed about it. To answer your questions and handle returns, faults and disputes. To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised payments. To meet our accounting, tax and other legal obligations. To improve the store. And, where you have agreed to it, to send you marketing and to measure how our advertising performs.

Our legal grounds under the GDPR

Where the GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following grounds. Performing our contract with you, for everything to do with taking and delivering your order. Our legitimate interests, for fraud prevention, security, and keeping records of customer enquiries and claims. Legal obligation, for accounting and tax records. And your consent, for optional cookies, analytics, personalised advertising and marketing email — which you may withdraw at any time.

Cookies

Necessary cookies keep the cart working, secure the site and process payment; the store cannot function without them. Analytics, functional and advertising cookies are only switched on where you have given valid consent, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time through the cookie settings on this site. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that already happened lawfully.

For each cookie we can tell you the name, the provider, the purpose, how long it lasts and which third parties may read it. Ask us and we will send you the current list.

Who we share it with

Only where it is necessary, and only with a proper basis for doing so. That means Shopify as our store platform; our payment providers; our warehouse and fulfilment partners; the carriers who deliver your order, including USPS; our email and helpdesk providers; Google, where Google Analytics or Google Ads are in use; Meta, where the Meta Pixel is in use; our hosting, IT and security suppliers; our accountants and professional advisers; and public authorities where the law compels us.

We do not sell your personal information for money. Depending on where you live, some advertising activity described above may still count as a “sale” or “sharing” under local law. You can opt out at any time through Your Privacy Choices.

Links to other sites

Our pages sometimes link to sites we do not run. Their privacy practices are their own and we are not responsible for them. Read their policies before handing over anything personal.

Children

This store is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16 for marketing purposes. If you believe a child has given us information without permission, write to us and we will delete it.

Security and how long we keep things

We use encrypted connections, restrict who inside the business can reach what, and work with suppliers that maintain their own safeguards. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not pretend otherwise.

Order and accounting records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Support, return and complaint records are kept while the case is open and afterwards for as long as we may need to evidence it. Marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe. Cookie and analytics data follows the retention periods in the cookie settings. Anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you can ask us to give you access to your information, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or send it to you or another provider in a machine-readable format. You can object to processing we base on legitimate interests, and you can object to direct marketing at any time. You can withdraw a consent whenever you like.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, these rights come from the GDPR, and you may also complain to your national data protection authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner's Office.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what we collect and why, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising. Exercising any of these rights will never mean worse service or a worse price. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser and device.

Send any request to support@lily-chicago.com. We may need to confirm who you are first. We reply without undue delay and in any case within one month.

Sending information abroad

Some of our suppliers process information outside your country. Where information leaves the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom for a country without an adequacy decision, the transfer runs on Standard Contractual Clauses issued by the European Commission, or the United Kingdom equivalent, with any additional safeguards required. For some recipients in the United States the EU–US Data Privacy Framework may apply where they are validly certified. Ask us and we will explain which applies to a given supplier.

Changes to this policy

We revise this page when our services, our suppliers or the applicable rules change. The current version always carries the date at the top. Where a change matters, we tell you in a way you will actually notice.
